1,000 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2-e) sequestered in a habitat restoration project in Nanoose Bay, British Columbia. Based on a CarbonSync™ site visit, we conducted habitat restoration including the planting of 170 new trees. Before starting work, the site suffered from gravel pit degradation. After restoration, the site can now store approximately 10 metric tonnes of carbon, with the potential to store 700 metric tonnes of carbon (over 2,500 metric tonnes of CO2-e).
Price is per metric tonne of CO2-e.
